Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
The Vocational Rehabilitation Program helps tribal members with disabilities gain employment through career counseling, job training, and support services. The Tribal Child Care Program provides quality, culturally enriched childcare to support families and early childhood development.
Our Story
The Moapa Band of Paiutes Vocational Rehabilitation Program is dedicated to assisting tribal members with disabilities in achieving meaningful employment and enhancing their quality of life. The program offers a range of services tailored to individual needs, including career counseling, job training, and placement assistance. By focusing on each person's unique strengths and challenges, the program aims to empower participants to secure and maintain gainful employment.
The Moapa Band of Paiutes Tribal Child Care Program assists eligible Native American and Alaskan Native families in Clark County, Nevada, by providing access to high-quality, affordable childcare services. Funded by the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the program offers subsidy vouchers for licensed centers, exempted programs, and in-home provider care. Additionally, since 2020, MBOP Tribal Child Care has operated a tribally owned center located on the Moapa Band of Paiutes Reservation.
